The Historic St. Paul A.M.E. Church

GOD orders our steps YESTERDAY, TODAY & TOMMORROW!

Church Events

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true
and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when
we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare
and equip his people to do every good work. - 2 Timothy 3;16-17 (NLT)

Our Prayer of the Week
Please join us in praying the following prayer between now & October 24, 2017...
Most Gracious God, teach us to respect the power within the words we
say. In those moments when we are particularly insensitive, stay our
tongue and open our ears and hearts instead. Show us how to sit with the
grieving without giving in to the need to explain their grief away.
Give us courage to help them experience their loss without rushing them
through the process of grief. In this way, O God, may your comfort be
felt instead of any harm that our thoughtless words may have caused if
we hadn't shut our mouths. - Amen.
